DataraSSH
DataraSSH is a free, native macOS SSH client that combines terminal sessions, SFTP file management, remote code editing, and port forwarding in a single polished desktop application. Built by Datara on the Wails framework (Go + Svelte), it goes far beyond a basic terminal emulator — giving developers, DevOps engineers, and sysadmins everything they need to manage remote servers without switching apps.
Organise unlimited SSH hosts with colour labels, groups, and favourites. Connect via password, private key, SSH certificate, or agent forwarding — even through bastion/jump hosts. The built-in two-pane SFTP file manager handles uploads, downloads, permissions, and inline file editing with full CodeMirror syntax highlighting. Port forwarding rules are saved per host and can auto-start on connection. DataraSSH is free forever — no subscription, no trial period, no feature gates.
